Klase Family Farm was established in 2019 from a desire to provide our family with healthier, more natural food.
Our journey began when our son, who is on the autism spectrum, experienced significant improvements after transitioning to a gluten-free and dairy-free lifestyle. That experience changed the way we thought about food and inspired us to become more intentional about what we fed our family.
What started with a few chickens quickly grew into a passion for raising animals naturally and producing wholesome food right here on our family farm in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
We are a family of eight, and our farm is truly a family effort. Alongside caring for our animals, we homeschool our youngest son and have the privilege of hosting foreign exchange students each year, welcoming young people from around the world into our home and daily life. These experiences have helped shape our family's values of hard work, learning, hospitality, and community.
Today, we raise free-range chickens and ducks and provide farm-fresh eggs to local families. We are also continuing to grow our farm by establishing pasture areas and hope to add a grass-fed cow in the future, allowing us to offer locally raised beef alongside our eggs as our farm continues to grow.
Our goal is simple: to provide fresh, local food produced with care while sharing a little piece of farm life with our community.
Thank you for supporting our family farm and allowing us to be a part of your family's table.
